Designer Services: a rich tradition
Our roots extend to John Hale Associates, an award-winning Milwaukee area
interior design firm from 1911 until 1978, designing for the Metropolitan
Builders Association Parade of Homes and presenting rooms in the
Milwaukee Symphony Show Case Home.
It is from this tradition of excellence in home interiors that we now offer area
interior designers the same outstanding furniture handling and delivery
services our firm once provided its clients.
Meeting and Exceeding Expectations:
We know what designers expect when dealing with their clients, and we
proudly provide highly professional delivery services from our door to that of
your customers.
Warehouse and delivery services include:
- Furniture receiving at our Waukesha warehouse
- Payment of collect freight charges, if required
- Unpacking and disposal of packaging materials from the delivering carrier
- Inspection of pieces at time of receipt
- Processing any freight claims, if required
- Pre-delivery inspection to uncover possible flaws
- Minor touchup of furniture prior to delivery, major repairs with your
refinisher or one of our choosing
- Storage of furnishings awaiting delivery in our temperature-controlled
facility
- Delivery and setup of furnishings for residential and commercial clients
- Packing or crating any furnishings requiring shipment
- Domestic and international shipping using FedEx or other carriers
- Small moving jobs
- Pick up and delivery for reupholstering and refinishing projects from the
customer to the craftsman, and back
Floor Covering Services
We also offer complete management of floor covering projects, including:
- Professional measuring to ensure proper product ordering
- Receiving of carpet and floor coverings at the Waukesha warehouse
- Delivery, if required, of floor coverings to your job site or your installers
pickup floor covering at our Waukesha warehouse
- Professional carpet and flooring installation, available upon request
Professional Services
We are fully bonded and insured up to $250,000.
Our staff is uniformed to provide a professional appearance and uses the
utmost care to protect flooring, carpeting, and existing home furnishings at
each delivery location.
Delivery Area and Practices
We deliver to the Fox Valley, Madison and Chicago once a week. Deliver to
the Metro Milwaukee area daily.
Customers receive a two (2) hour window for the delivery. If our delivery
team is delayed and cannot meet its schedule, we will call the customer
during our delivery window to notify of the delay or to reschedule. If
requested, we will call 30 minutes prior to the delivery to allow the customer
time to meet our delivery team.
Our pricing structure is easy to remember. We charge one price for delivery
of any item in the four county delivery area. Extraordinary projects are
quoted individually.
